Plasma lipoproteins, free fatty acids (FFA). serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels. were studied in four different groups of subjects. The group A comprised of 2(} normal healthy subjects ( control) ; group B 8 non-diabetics with a history of coronary heart disease; group C 57 untreated newly diagnosed diabetics and group old diabetic subjects of 10 or more years duration of the disease respectively.
