What is the editorial policy?

Principle Investigator represents all the articles in board-meeting after the completion of article peer reviewing. All the board members share their comments and findings, chief editor finalize the decision about correction, modification and qualifying to publication. Have any basic Instruction about authorship-form?

The uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to medical journals state that authorship credit should be based only on a substantial contribution to the following: • Conception and design, acquisition of data or analysis and interpretation of data. • Drafting the article or revising it critically for important intellectual content. Both of these conditions must be met. Each author should have participated sufficiently in the work to take public responsibility for appropriate portions of the content.

Medical Research Council Bulletin is the official publication of the Bangladesh Medical Research Council. This journal is being published from April 1975. It is now published three times a year in the months of April, August and December. The journal publishes original papers and letters to the editor. All papers submitted for publication are peer reviewed. Papers are accepted on the understanding that they are subject to editorial revision. Offset paper, A4 size should be used. Only one side should be printed with double space. Times New Roman 12 size should be used. Avoid widow orphan lines. Do not exceed 26 lines per page. Words should be broken, if necessary, by syllables. At least 1.5″ on the left and 1.0″ on three other sides of the manuscript should be left out as clear margin on each page. Tables and figures should be placed at the end of the manuscript, each on a separate sheet. Please see the Instruction-to-author page for more information about it.

What is the Publishing Schedule and Access Method?

Bangladesh Medical Research Council Bulletin is the official publication of the Bangladesh Medical Research Council. This journal is being published from April 1975. It is now published three times a year in the months of April, August and Decemb. BMRC Journal is an open access journal and free of cost. BMRC doesn’t charge for article processing and article submission It’s our great pleasure to denote that all our journals and individual articles are fully accessible and available to readers ; there are no associated subscription or pay per view fees to avail all the above facilities.

About ownership and management

BMRC has a General Body with 54 members representing post-graduate medical institutes, medical colleges, universities, learned societies, medical institutions, health related organizations, various divisions and departments of ministries dealing with medical education, services and research. The General Body elects the Executive Committee. It is headed by the Chairman, Executive Committee, elected from among the members of the General Body.
