Double contrast barium meal examination was done in 241 cases referred from various in-patient and out-patient departments of Sir Salimullah Medical Mitford Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Out of 241, 150 cases were xamined by 10cally prepared negative contrast agent of whieh upper gestrontestinal endoscopy was done in 52 cases.
