AEROMONAS HYDROPHILA: ITS ISOLATION FROM ACUTE DIARRHOEAL ILLNESS IN RURAL BANGLADESH

During an investigation of an epidemic of diarrhoeal diseases in the Sylhet district of Bangladesh, Aeromonas hydrophila was isolated from the stool samples of 8.5% of acute diarrhoeal patients aged under 19. Out of 6
